Background

When Bethesda Health Care set out to establish its new mental health clinic in Perth’s southern suburbs, it saw an opportunity to rethink how mental health services are delivered. Working closely with Bethesda and Microsoft, Velrada helped design and implement a modern patient administration platform built on Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, supporting a more connected, transparent, and patient-centred care experience.

The Challenge

Bethesda’s vision extended beyond opening a new facility. The organisation wanted to improve continuity of care across multiple providers, give patients greater visibility of their treatment journey, and better connect clinicians, carers, families, and support networks through a single digital platform.

Velrada’s Solution

Leveraging Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, Dynamics 365, Power Pages, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Azure, Velrada helped deliver a next-generation healthcare platform that created:

  • A connected view of each patient’s care journey across services and providers
  • On-demand access to treatment information, resources, and support through a patient portal
  • Improved collaboration between clinicians through access to comprehensive patient records
  • Greater continuity of care through connected clinical and operational systems
  • A secure, scalable foundation for future innovation and evolving healthcare needs

With Microsoft Cloud for Healthcare, we’re going to be better able to understand patient needs, and when we’re not meeting those needs, we’re now going to be able to adapt and adopt innovative new strategies quickly.
